OOH media may consist of either print or digital forms of media that is used to transmit contents to audiences at indoor and outdoor public spaces. Examples of print OOH media are contents printed on billboards, light boxes, floors, pillars, panels, banners or any other public space where contents can be printed on. These contents are normally placed in highly visible public locations that are easily spotted, including streets, highways, pedestrian bridges and in transit vehicles (i.e. buses, trains and taxis).
Alternatively, DOOH media refers to all digital signages that are displayed in public areas including LCD screens, plasma screens and LCD or LED billboards. These signages may be located on the streets, in transit vehicles such as busses, or even in buildings such as retail stores, transportation hubs and in office buildings.
