Giving Back To The Community

As the leading transit-TV network in Malaysia, Asia Media believes in giving back to the community. Our community initiatives reflect our commitment to help raise awareness, assist and help communities or causes to enhance the well being of individuals and our environments.

Over the years, we have contributed, and will continue to contribute, back to the community via several categories:

  • Educational Safety programs – by regularly sharing safety and precautionary tips and advice via our LCD screens on all buses helps to remind bus commuters to take precautionary measures when boarding the bus, or even when they exit the buses. We also work closely with the Malaysian Police Force to help raise awareness on any crime prevention tips or on criminal cases.
  • Airtime sponsorship of Environmental Conservation causes – We collaborate with various non-for-profit organizations to raise awareness and spread the word on environmental conservation via our LCD screens; reaching out to more than 500,000 bus commuters daily.
  • Youth Entrepreneurship – helping to build the youth business community is one of the main corporate social responsibilities. We assist youths by taking part in speaking opportunities, sharing our advice, comments and journeys; as well as collaborate with youth organizations to help create initiatives that encourage entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
